Seriously, are there really that many things one can do with a cape without it actually having some sort of mystical powers?July 12, 2018
The Cape delivers...a thoroughly entertaining viewing experience, with solid action scenes, a terrific score and an intriguing plot paced so quickly, you'll feel as if you're watching a visual representation of a graphic novel.January 09, 2011
"The Cape" may need a little time and faith. But it has a shot.January 09, 2011
This is one smart, stylishly produced show.January 09, 2011
Cartoonish while also straining to be taken very seriously, NBC's big ticket mid-season series needs both a sedative and a sense of direction.July 11, 2018
The Cape is never as gripping as it probably should be. The name of the hero is dumb, and the concept feels stale, combining drab crime drama elements with comic book genre fare.January 09, 2011
This is fantasy, of course, and there's a promising sense of self-reflection in the show's foundation.July 12, 2018
The outline of the story could be interesting if it were simply slowed down a bit and balance the cheesy and the charming more in a way that 'Chuck' proved possible.July 11, 2018
This drama about a caped crusader (David Lyons) delivers more snickers than sizzle.July 12, 2018
Marked by logical elisions, word-balloon dialogue and conveniently located plot holes though it may be, this is a machine for putting its heroes in tight spaces and watching them kick their way free, and it does its work efficiently and with flair.
