Nowhere In Africa
In 1938, the Redlich family flees from Leobschütz in Silesia, Nazi Germany, to escape the increasing persecution of the Jews. They move to Kenya to start running a farm, but not all members of the family come to an arrangement with their new life. Shortly after their departure, things are changing in Germany very quickly, and a turning back seems impossible. So everyone has to arrange himself with the new life in a new continent.

The acting is wonderful throughout, and director Carole Link has crafted a tale with the dramatic scope of a great epic. The English Patient comes to mind.June 26, 2003
Everything in the film rings true, is deeply moving, richly photographed, and wonderfully acted.January 08, 2004
Una buena historia para decir un par de cosas sobre el desarraigo, los lazos familiares, y la chance de empezar una nueva vida siempre que sea necesario.
