Sophie van Winden was born in Amsterdam, but she was raised in the town of Leiden, The Netherlands, where she attended primary school and the 'Stedelijk Gymnasium Leiden'. She graduated in 2001. After that she attended the Academy for Theater in Maastricht. She's got a younger brother and a younger sister. Her parents had an antiquarian bookstore in Leiden. Hide
